Time For The Masters. Time for Spring Golf!

How do we know it's finally spring? The flowers are peeping out of the snow? The trees are budding? The grass is greening up?

Well, all of the above are logical. But for golfers, the first real sign of spring is Masters week. It's the event that ignites golf fever and millions of golfers around the world catch it. Fast.

Just the thought of The Masters makes your heart quicken. Masters time means golf season has finally arrived. If you're still in the frozen north or midwest, it also your signal to head south to get your golf fix. Right after The Masters, your mind turns to Myrtle Beach.

This year, there are more great deals than ever along Myrtle Beach's "Grand Strand" where more than 100 courses have been warming in the sun just waiting for you. Sure, you can find info about deals on each course's web site. But it's way more fun to get involved with your favorites on Facebook.

Courses like Glen Dornoch, Heather Glen, Shaftesbury Glen or Possum Trot of the Glens Golf Group have their own page and accommodations providers have them too. Find deals, new packages and ask them directly how they can fix you up on the links. Facebook is your connection to your favorites and a way to get answers to your burning questions. So, consider becoming a fan.

If you've ever wondered how to get tickets to The Masters, you'll want to check out Augusta National's explanation of the ticket situation. Meanwhile, enjoy this video of The Masters at Augusta National while you're cleaning up your clubs.

Hope to see you on the tee in Myrtle Beach real soon.
