Lots To Do, Less To Pay In Myrtle Beach In September And October. Advantage: You.

Ahhhh. . . September and October in Myrtle Beach. The crowds are gone. It's finally quiet. But it won't be long before more crowds come in for holiday shopping and the holiday shows.

So seize the moment.

Come into town and enjoy new attractions like the East Coast's only zip line over water at Broadway at the Beach. What's a zip line? Well, they slip you into a harness and hook you onto a line that takes you out 50 feet in the air over a 23-acre lake. . . and back.

Adrenaline rush. A natural high. And no lines to stand in and think about backing out. You gotta love fall for that reason alone.

To work up to the zip line, you can build your courage and your muscles on a ropes course hanging out over the lake. Yo ho ho, this pirate-themed attraction only has you hanging 40 feet in the air, but your feet are in play this time. Three levels. Thirty-three different challenges to your balance, dexterity and focus. Obstacles like swinging steps, tremor bridge, tightrope walk, and vertical angle stairs give you quite a workout.

Hotel prices are way down when summer ends. The beach is empty. The temperatures? Still toasty.

So zip into town and take advantage.
